"Because the world will die without it, go with LOVE."

"Because the world will die without it, go with LOVE."

This has been my favorite line and YM status since I first heard of this phrase, during Pabaon 2011 in Ateneo de Manila University. Father Ben included a poem/prayer in his speech and this line was the last line of that poem/prayer. I do not know who the original author of this poem/prayer is. This line was also made prayer of Ateneo Law School OrSem Day 1. This line is just so lovely and beautiful. I see it as the ultimate maxim for a person who is in doubt and indecisive for some issues. When in doubt, go with love.

The entire poem goes like this. [I use poem to refer to this one because of lack of a better term to name these lines.]

Because the world is poor and starving, go with bread.
Because the world is filled with fear, go with courage.
Because the world is in despair, go with hope.
Because the world is living lies, go with truth.
Because the world is sick with sorrow, go with joy.
Because the world is weary of wars, go with peace.
Because the world is seldom fair, go with justice.
Because the world is under judgment, go with mercy.
Because the world will die without it, go with love.
